Parental / Guardian Consent
Last updated September 18, 2026
Many Rostered athletes are high-school students under 18. If the athlete is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must consent to their use of Rostered before the account is active.
What the parent or guardian is agreeing to
- The athlete may create a profile with recruiting information (sport, stats, GPA, film, and similar) that college coaches on the platform can see.
- That information is processed by Rostered's tools, including AI features, to help with recruiting.
- The parent or guardian has read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and agrees to them on the athlete's behalf.
Parent / guardian rights
At any time, a parent or guardian may:
- Review the information in their child's account,
- Correct it, and
- Request deletion of the account and associated data,
by emailing info@gotrostered.com or using the tools in the athlete's account settings.
How consent is captured at signup
During signup, an athlete who indicates they are under 18 is asked to provide a parent or guardian name and email and a consent confirmation before the account becomes active. We keep a record of that consent, and we delete a minor's information when the account is closed (except anything we must retain to meet a legal obligation).
Minimum age
Rostered is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 13.
