Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Rostered LLC (“Rostered”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email info@gotrostered.com.

1. Information we collect

• Account & profile: name, email, role (athlete or coach), and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
• Athletic & academic info: sport, position, graduation year, height/weight, stats, GPA, transcripts you upload, NCAA ID (optional), and school/club.
• Film & media: highlight film links and video clips you upload for review and verification.
• NIL/brand info (optional): social handles, follower counts, and related details for NIL tools.
• Messages: communication between athletes and coaches on the platform.
• Payment info: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We don't store your full card number.
• Usage data: basic logs needed to run the service, prevent abuse, and enforce fair-use limits on AI features.

2. How we use it

• Provide the platform: build your profile, match athletes and programs, and generate the AI features you request.
• Show athlete profiles to college coaches for recruiting purposes.
• Process subscriptions and prevent fraud.
• Maintain, secure, and improve the service.

3. AI processing

To generate the features you ask for, we send the relevant profile content, stats, and film frames to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce the analysis. Their standard API terms provide that your data is not used to train their models.

4. How information is shared

• With college coaches on the platform — that's the point of an athlete profile.
• With service providers that run the platform (payments, hosting, AI) under agreements that limit their use of the data.
• When required by law, or to protect safety and prevent fraud.
• We do not sell your personal information.

5. Minors

Rostered is used by high-school athletes, many of whom are under 18. We do not knowingly allow users under 13. We require parental or guardian consent for users under 18 (see our Parental Consent notice). A parent or guardian may review, correct, or request deletion of their child's information by contacting info@gotrostered.com. We collect only what's needed to provide the recruiting service, and we delete a minor's data when the account is closed (except anything we must keep to meet a legal obligation).

6. Data retention & security

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to run the service or meet legal obligations. We protect data with access controls and encryption in transit, and we restrict who can access it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe.

7. Your choices & rights

You can view and edit most information in your profile, cancel your subscription anytime, and export or delete your data right from your account settings (or by emailing info@gotrostered.com). We honor access, correction, and deletion requests for every user, regardless of where you live.

8. Where we operate

Rostered is offered in the United States and is intended for users in the U.S. We don't direct the service to, or knowingly collect data from, users outside the United States.

9. Cookies & analytics

We use only the essential cookies needed to keep you logged in, plus basic analytics to understand how the service is used. We don't use advertising trackers.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We'll post the new “last updated” date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice.
