Terms of Service

These Terms are a contract between you and Rostered LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“Rostered,” “we,” “us”), operating gotrostered.com. By creating an account or using Rostered, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. What Rostered is

Rostered is an online recruiting platform that connects athletes with college programs and provides AI-assisted tools: scouting summaries, film review, verified performance measurements, program matching, and NIL/brand guidance. We provide software and tools. We do not guarantee recruitment, roster spots, scholarships, offers, or any specific outcome.

2. Who can use it (eligibility & minors)

You must be at least 13 years old to use Rostered. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and consent to your use, and is responsible for your account. See our Privacy Policy and Parental Consent notice for how we handle minors' information.

3. Your account

Keep your login secure and your information accurate. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away at info@gotrostered.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

• Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment processor (Stripe). Prices are shown at checkout.
• Founding-member pricing (a discounted rate locked for as long as you stay subscribed) and any free-month promotion apply only as described at signup and while the stated limits last.
• Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime, and access continues through the end of the paid period.
• Refunds: Monthly fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Acceptable use

Don't: submit false, altered, edited, or AI-manipulated film or stats; impersonate anyone; harass or contact people abusively; scrape or bulk-extract data; attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the platform; or use Rostered for anything unlawful. Coaches and programs must use athlete information only for legitimate recruiting purposes.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the film, photos, stats, and information you upload. By uploading, you grant Rostered a license to store, display, and process that content to operate the service, including showing your profile to coaches and running it through our AI tools to generate features you request. You confirm you have the right to share what you upload.

7. AI features, verification & no guarantees

Our AI tools (summaries, film review, matching, NIL estimates) produce assistive analysis, not fact. They can be wrong or incomplete. Our “Verified” badges confirm a submitted clip appeared authentic and consistent with a claim under our review process. They are an anti-fraud check, not a guarantee of accuracy, and not an officially timed or certified result. Rostered Scores, valuations, and matches are estimates to help you, not promises.

8. NIL & brand tools

Any NIL (name, image, likeness) guidance, valuations, or outreach material is educational only— not legal, tax, financial, or agency advice. Always follow your school, conference, and state NIL rules, and have a qualified professional review any agreement before you sign.

9. Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers (for example, Stripe for payments, plus infrastructure and AI vendors) to run the service. Your use may also be subject to their terms.

10. Our intellectual property

Rostered owns the platform, its software, brand, and its matching and verification methods. These Terms don't give you any ownership of them.

11. Termination

You can stop using Rostered anytime. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the platform (for example, submitting fraudulent film or stats).

12. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Rostered isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to cover Rostered against claims arising from your misuse of the service or from content you uploaded that you didn't have the right to share.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll post the new “last updated” date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continuing to use Rostered means you accept the update.
